CALUM Best, Sam Thompson and Love Island’s Georgia Harrison are some of the celebrities who have signed up to new dating app The List.

The singletons are joined by Chloe Crowhurst and ex Celebrity Big Brother housemate Ben Jardine who almost started a romance with controversial character Roxanne Pallett.

Made In Chelsea and Celebs Go Dating star Sam said: “If you want to meet me, my friends and people like me you need to join The List.”

Also on it are Survival Of The Fittest’s David Lundy, Ibiza Weekender reps Chyna Ellis and Imogen Townley, Josh Mair, who was on last year’s Love Island, and Hollyoaks actor Fab Santino.

The app is now available to download on the Apple and Android stores.

One of the creators, Dean Rowland, revealed users can look for partners who are looking for something serious, casual or keeping their options open.

He said: “A lot of my friends were complaining about the fact that there wasn’t a decent dating app out there that catered to their needs.

“Some of the most popular apps are just about hook ups but you have to join them because everyone uses them. We decided to create The List dating app so people can meet the people they really want to.

“One of the first questions we ask is, ‘What are you up for?’ and we give three options. Something serious? Something casual? Or are they keeping their options open?

“Instead of having to guess what someone is looking for it tells you on their profile. You can even search for people looking for the same thing as you. We’re not saying you should only look for a serious relationship.

“Of course you can have some fun along the way but there are some people who only want something serious and they want to connect with people looking for the same thing.”

His co-creator Helen Georgio insists users cannot catfish others.

She said: “First of all you connect with Facebook then we ask the user to enter their mobile number and we send them a text.

“This means we’re getting real people. No one likes a catfish.

“This is two-step verification so it gives everyone who joins has the comfort that the other users have to follow the same process once they’ve downloaded the app to create a dating profile.

“Then we ask the user ‘What are they up for?’ and ‘How tall are you?’. We combine this with the photos and information from Facebook and create a profile. Users can set their search criteria using a distance of up to 100 miles from their current Location and the can define age, gender, height and what the user is looking for.”
